Welcome to the Strip Tools Suite. This Privacy Policy governs your use of all mobile applications and digital tools (collectively the "Apps") developed by Strip Dev ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data remains under your absolute control. By installing or using any of our Apps, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

2. The "Zero-Collection" Promise

The entire Strip ecosystem is built on a "Local-First" architecture.

• No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, media files, or metadata to our own servers or any third-party servers.
• No Tracking: Our applications do not contain any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or hidden telemetry.
• No Account Required: You can use all features of the Strip Suite without creating an account or providing an email address.

3. Technical Processing: The Laboratory Model

To ensure maximum security, the Strip Suite operates as a "Privacy Laboratory" on your device:

• On-Device Processing: Metadata scrubbing and audit logic runs entirely on your device’s local hardware.
• Volatile Local Cache: During processing, our apps may use a temporary private cache directory for working files. Your originals are not modified during the scrub process.
• Automated Cleanup: A background CleanupWorker runs roughly every 12 hours to remove stale temporary leftovers. Batch cleanup also runs immediately after processing completes.

4. Permissions and Their Purpose

Strip Apps minimize the permissions they require to function. We utilize the following system-level tools for specific utility purposes:

• System Photo Picker: We use the modern Android Photo Picker to provide scoped access to only the media you select. Our apps do not have broad access to your entire gallery.
• Storage Access Framework: If you pick files or folders through system pickers, Android grants scoped URI access only to those specific selections.
• Internet & Billing: These permissions are used strictly for Google Play Billing to show pricing, complete purchases, and restore/verify Pro entitlement.
• Wake Lock & Boot Complete: These are utilized by our background workers to ensure that batch scrubbing operations and the 12-hour cache cleanup tasks are completed successfully, even if the device restarts.

5. Third-Party Services (Google Play)

We utilize Google Play Billing for our monetization model.

• Payment Processing: When you upgrade to Pro, your financial information (credit card details, billing address) is handled exclusively by Google.
• Data Sovereignty: Strip Dev never sees, stores, or processes your payment information. Please refer to the Google Play Terms of Service for more details.

6. Data Safety Declaration

In compliance with global and Indian data protection standards, we declare:

• Data Collection: None.
• Data Sharing: None.
• Data Security: All data handling is ephemeral and limited to local on-device processing.

7. Children's Privacy

Strip Tools are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

8. Jurisdiction and Compliance

This policy is governed by the laws of India, specifically complying with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
