Master Terms of Use

Welcome to the Strip Tools Suite. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of all mobile applications and digital tools (collectively the "Apps") developed by Strip Dev ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using any of our Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any App within the Strip ecosystem, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Apps.

2. Description of Service

Strip Dev provides privacy-focused utility tools designed to audit, manage, and remove metadata from photos ("Scrubbing"). All Apps operate on a "Local-First" architecture, meaning all data processing occurs exclusively on your device hardware without the use of external processing servers.

3. In-App Purchases (Pro Upgrade)

Many of our Apps offer a "Pro" version accessible via a one-time In-App Purchase.

• Billing: All payments are processed through the Google Play Store. You agree to comply with Google’s billing terms.
• Pricing: Pro pricing is shown in Google Play at the time of purchase and may vary by region, currency, taxes, promotions, or future updates.
• Refunds: Since payments are handled by Google Play, refund requests must be submitted directly through the Google Play Store interface and are subject to Google’s refund policies.

4. License and Use Restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Apps for personal or professional use. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any App.
• Use the Apps for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Redistribute or sell the Apps as your own product.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Apps (including logic, UI design, branding, and proprietary algorithms) are and will remain the exclusive property of Strip Dev. All product names, related logos, and branding are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

6. Data and Content

• Your Photos: We do not claim ownership of the photos you process. Your images remain strictly on your device.
• Risk of Loss: While our tools are designed to protect your originals (typically by creating a processed copy), you are responsible for maintaining backups of your original media. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from the use of the Apps.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Apps and Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strip Dev disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Metadata Removal: While we aim for forensic-level precision, we do not guarantee that the Apps will identify or remove 100% of metadata, hidden tags, or steganographic data from every possible file format or future metadata standard.
• Privacy Outcomes: We do not warrant that the use of our Apps will ensure your absolute anonymity or prevent third parties from identifying you or your location through other means (e.g., visual analysis, AI pattern matching, or network-level tracking).
• Technical Stability: We do not guarantee that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all device hardware and software configurations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Strip Dev, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or media.
• Privacy Breaches: Any exposure of your sensitive data (including GPS coordinates or identity) resulting from technical limitations, software bugs, or user error.
• Third-party claims arising from your use of processed media.

In any event, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific App or "Pro" upgrade during the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Punjab, India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of any App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. User Responsibility and Forensic Verification

You acknowledge that metadata parsing is a complex and evolving technical field. You are solely responsible for verifying the output of the Apps before sharing, uploading, or distributing any media. If you require absolute, life-critical privacy (e.g., for investigative journalism, legal defense, or whistleblowing), you should employ multiple redundant verification methods. Our Apps are utility tools, not a substitute for professional forensic security audits.
